I enjoy long walks, dark drinks, and listing things in threes.
I run a blog called Clients From Hell. I also host a podcast, write books, and teach courses. When I’m not working on my own stuff, I help the brilliant team at Axiom Zen create the brands, content, and communication strategies for their award-winning products and businesses.
I help clients with everything from ideation to content creation to full-scale strategy.
My career highlights include:
Right now, I’m working with an Olympic sports federation to develop an online communications strategy in anticipation of Tokyo 2020.
Most of my work is related to helping creative communications succeed. The biggest aspect of that is helping to bridge “creativity” and “business.” What that means varies client to client, but it all comes down to defining why something is being pursued, who the audience for that thing is, and how it’s going to get done.
Sometimes, a business thinks a website or social media campaign will solve problems tied to a deeper marketing issue. I help get to the bottom of obstacles so I can provide worthwhile solutions.
Simply put, I help messages meet their audience in a meaningful way.
Questions? Compliments? Throw them my way.
